Voici le retour de ce label anglais assez rare de vinyle semi-officiel (qui semble être lié à Coda Records & co) mais rien de bien original a priori...
| Citation: | This album showcases David Bowie’s legendary live performance at the Paris Theatre, in London, on 5 February 1970. Bowie’s fourth BBC radio session, the set was recorded for The Sunday Show. Notably, this was Mick Ronson’s first appearance as Bowie’s guitarist. Also performing was Tony Visconti on bass guitar, and John Cambridge on drums. A burning piece of Bowie iconography and a foundational moment in the Starman’s decade of dominance, this live session gives a run out for some of Bowie’s rarely heard early numbers such as Amsterdam, God Knows I’m Good, The Width of a Circle, Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed, Cygnet Committee and many more.

Phoenix Festival 1996 sorti le 14 avril 2025 au Royaume-Uni et prévu le 2 mai 2025 en France (1 CD ; Zip City ZCCD 138) => sortie repoussée au 6 juin 2025 en France
Enfin une excellente nouvelle avec le retour de ce label à suivre. J'en reparlerai...
Mise à jour du 14 juin 2025 : le CD est disponible enfin en France après plusieurs reports. Il faut dire que, depuis le brexit, les imports anglais sont moins rapides (et plus chers). Mais ça valait le coup d'attendre car le label anglais aux multiples alias revient avec une release presque parfaite. On comprend sa volonté de presser un seul CD mais l'absence de "Telling Lies" nous prive du show complet du 18 juillet 1996 du Phoenix Festival. Dommage car ce show est excellent (qui a dit comme tous ceux de 1996 ? je suis d'accord). Bien sûr la mention du "Live FM Broadcast" est toute relative car seuls quelques titres avaient été diffusés à ma connaissance et avaient fini en bootlegs dès 1996 ! En conclusion c'est vraiment un "must have" en bon français... sauf si vous avez l'excellent "Phoenix Festival 1996" en 2 CD sorti en 2019 par Wardour

Formed in Hereford in 1969, and originally named the Doc Thomas Group, the mighty Mott The Hoople changed their name after signing with Island Records later the same year. The band released albums at the beginning of the 1970s but failed to find any success. On the verge of breaking up, Mott were encouraged by David Bowie to stay together. Bowie wrote their glam-style signature song ‘All the Young Dudes’ for them, which became their first hit in 1972. Bowie subsequently produced their album of the same name, which added to their success. Bowie had originally offered Mott "Suffragette City", later to appear on his Ziggy Stardust album. They turned it down, but Bowie then penned ‘All the Young Dudes’ for them, and it became their biggest hit. Released as a single in July ‘72, it was a success in the UK. Bowie produced an album, also called All The Young Dudes. In November ’72, MTH travelled to the US for a short tour there, opening on 24th at the Hollywood Palladium. The next night, they moved on to The Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, for a show which included David Bowie as both the compere, and backing vocalist on “All The Young Dudes”, their penultimate number, plus a finale of The Rolling Stones’ ‘Honky Tonk Women’.

Culturally, these shows were misunderstood in their time - but prophetic in hindsight. They bridged old and new, glam and goth, Berlin and Cleveland. Bowie embraced the chaos of a digital, decaying world; Reznor mirrored it in machine rhythm and human despair. Together, they didn't just perform - they transmitted.
These recordings are more than concerts. They're documents of mutation - caught at the seam between decades, where sound evolved and masks came off.

Et voici une nouvelle sortie évitable d'un nouvel alias du piteux label allemand qui semble nous refourguer un repackaging d'une précédente daube...
Mise à jour du 11 octobre 2025 : ce CD est bien sorti finalement à la différence du coffret 2023 de ce même label. Il va aller rejoindre ses petits copains sans même que ce soit nécessaire de perdre du temps à l'écouter...

Pourquoi se fatiguer quand on peut copier le bootleg de Casino Records sorti en 2018 ? Au moins il faut reconnaître qu'ils ont bon goût car il s'agit du meilleur (?) label de vinyles encore en activité.

The 1980 Floorshow Rehearsals prévu le 21 novembre 2025 (1 CD ; édition limitée ; Audio Vaults AV 2018149)
Voici le retour d'un label qui vaut mieux que ses pochettes. Cette fois c'est avec du classique intéressant puisqu'il s'agit des prises alternatives du show de 1973. Une bonne initiative après Rarities 1966-1968, Karma Man, Wild Eyed Boy, Ziggy Played Guitar et Live In Tokyo 1973.

Ce label semble être de retour avec un copier-coller du coffret pourri de Cult Legends. Pas de pitié entre labels semi-officiels  Espérons que je me trompe car ce label nous avait habitué à mieux...
