La compilation des sessions de la BBC ressort en quadruple vinyle le 26 février 2016. Par rapport à la version des 2 CD sortie en 2000, deux titres sont ajoutés : Oh! You Pretty Things du show "Sounds Of The 70s Bob Harris" et The Supermen du show "Sounds Of The 70s Andy Ferris".

Du coup je me demande s'il y avait eu une sortie vinyle à l'époque _________________ And I want to believe in the madness that calls 'Now' |

A priori le supermen est un vrai "inédit" car il n'a pas été diffusé par la BBC et a longtemps été considéré comme perdu. Pas sûr du tout qu'il soit sur ton bootleg _________________ And I want to believe in the madness that calls 'Now' |

C'est bien confirmé. La version de la session "Sounds Of The 70s Andy Ferris" de The Supermen est un vrai inédit. On ne la trouve pas non plus sur des bootlegs comme par exemple la compilation très connue "The Rise And Rise Of Ziggy Stardust" à la différence du Oh! You Pretty Things (titre 2 du CD 3).

 	  | Bowiestore a écrit: | | Previously released on CD, this is the debut of the Best Of David Bowie's BBC radio sessions from 1968 - 1972 on vinyl. The 39-track 4-disk set comes in a lift off lid box and features a full colour 20 page booklet. This vinyl version features Oh! You Pretty Things from the Sounds Of The 70s Bob Harris session, broadcast in September 1971, which was previously exclusive to the Japanese release of the CD. This performance features just David and Mick Ronson as a duo. Completely exclusive to this collection, and therefore making its debut, is the once lost The Supermen from the Sounds Of The 70s Andy Ferris session, broadcast in March 1970, and performed by The Hype. This recording was only rediscovered during the research for the original CD set and remained unreleased until now. |

 	  | IdbD a écrit: | | Note: many sources claim that 'Supermen' from this session can be found on The '69 Tapes (Quality Productions QCP 69006) and MissingLinksOneZiggy (Icon One) CDs, but this definitely is not true; more likely this version is a demo. The BBC version can be identified by a slower tempo and the line "And icy-cold in super fear, their endless tragic lives would stretch beyond the lavish gift, infinity, existing perverse serenity", whereas Bowie sings "Gloomy browed with super fear, their tragic, endless lives, could heave nor sigh, the flesh machines, marble age, wondrous beings chained to live" in the demo on The '69 Tapes. |

				La box est bien sortie le 26 février 2016 à environ 80EUR. Est-ce que quelqu'un l'achetée ? ou a trouvé les rips des 2 inédits ? |
