Montreux Jazz Festival prévu le 1er avril 2022 (2 CD ; X-RAY XRY2CD005)
Nouveau label plus que promoteur avec ce show exceptionnel même si ce n'est pas sa première édition en CD comme le dit la promo. On se demande comment ils ont réussi à le faire tenir sur 2 CD. Espérons que ce ne soit pas un poisson d'avril 
Mise à jour du 16 avril 2022 : des poissons d'avril comme ça on en voudrait plus souvent : sans doute une copie directe du Wardour 193 sorti en 2016, avec une qualité excellente, un show complet et pour seulement 16 EUR chez Amaz  n, notre dealer préféré de bootlegs officiels 
| Citation: | David Bowie ended the European leg of his 2002 'Heathen' tour at the Stravinski Hall during the Montreux Jazz Festival, in Montreux, Switzerland. Despite sweltering temperatures, Bowie performed a longer than usual set and rewarded the audience with a similar one to that that which he performed in Cologne the week before and which, until now, was deemed the tour's finest event. o He started the show in the very stylish black and white clobber that had become the trademark look of this tour. The fans down the front didn't disappoint in terms of launching appropriate items stage-ward at the appropriate lyrical prompts...such as "Just wishing that I had just something you wore", "I'd love to get a letter" and possibly "...your big fat dog" and perhaps even "...the girl next door"! o The first encore saw a return of Bowie's stylish blue jacket, and for the second the entire Low album, (excepting 'Weeping Wall') for which Bowie wore his long red coat with the black platforms and baggy black trouser, was performed. He finished the show sans red coat, possibly due to the outrageous temperatures in the hall. o The entire show was recorded for live FM radio broadcast and while not previously released on CD, this new 2-disc set put that right, featuring as it does Bowie's entire Montreux 2002 concert.

Par contre là on aurait pu faire l'impasse même s'il s'agit d'un bon label qui nous avait offert : The Lost Sessions, Under The Covers, Unplugged & Slightly Phased et Santiago 1990.

Outside album which was released on 25 September '95. o In a 2012 Rolling Stone reader's poll, the tour (pairing Nine Inch Nails with Bowie) was named one of the top 10 opening acts in rock history. o The tour was Bowie's first since he retired his hits with his previous Sound+Vision Tour (1990). He said at the time, ""We're going to play some older material, sure, but not obvious things. So, I'm quite looking forward to it."" Other songs from Bowie's back catalogue that he performed during the tour include 'Scary Monsters', 'Look Back in Anger', 'Andy Warhol' and 'Breaking Glass'. o Bowie discussed later why he chose to tour with Nine Inch Nails: o ""I personally did like the combination of NIN and me, but my fans didn't. Bad luck!! It also was an extremely young audience, between about 12 and 17 years old. My starting point was simply: I've just made an adventurous album, what can I do now to turn the concerts as adventurous. Looking at it in that way, it seemed logic to confront myself with the NIN audience. I knew it would be hard to captivate them by music they never heard, by an artist whose name was the only familiar thing.""

Même s'il s'agit selon moi du pire bootleg soundboard de David Bowie à cause de l'animateur radio italien beaucoup trop bavard, il sera difficile de se passer de vérifier la qualité de ce nouveau label à bon marché

Making prominent use of electronic instruments, the album, which reunited Bowie with Let's Dance producer Nile Rodgers, confirmed Bowie's return to popularity, hitting the number-one spot on the UK charts and spawning three Top 40 hits. Bowie explored new directions on The Buddha of Suburbia (1993), ostensibly a soundtrack album of his music composed for the BBC television adaptation of Hanif Kureishi's novel. o Reuniting Bowie with Eno, the quasi-industrial Outside (1995) was originally conceived as the first volume in a non-linear narrative of art and murder. C'est avec une grande tristesse, qu'après vous avoir annoncé des rééditions malheureuses, je dois vous informer que le label Cult Legends prévoit la sortie d'un 5ème vinyle "inédit" suivant le premier, le deuxième et le troisième et le quatrième qui avaient déjà bien tiré vers le bas les collections des bowiephiles les plus passionnés

Reel To Reel continue sa série de 7" cover (en changeant de nom de label) après Wild Is The Wind, China Girl, I Can't Explain et White Light White Heat, Space Oddity et Go Now. Il faut noter que les références COVER 12 à COVER 15 sont des 7" des Beatles et que celles COVER 20 à COVER 23 sont des 7" de Guns N' Roses et de Elvis Presley.

Il n'y a plus aucun contrôle sur le net. Les majors sont concentrées sur le streaming. Elles ne vérifient même plus s'il y a des contrefaçons ou des pirates en vente. Tout le monde peut vendre ses produits. C'est la fête...  |

| Ce n'est pas la vente qui me gêne car je suis pour la vente libre des bootlegs (mais pas des contrefaçons ni des pirates bien sûr) mais bien le prix ! Il est d'ailleurs passé à 65 EUR. On le trouvait à moins de 50 £ sur les sites anglais. |

Ce CD semble être une copie directe du bootleg bien connu Bahamas 2003 du label Ganja. Une très bonne nouvelle pour acheter un bootleg à très bon prix après l'excellent Montreux Jazz Festival ci-dessus. Espérons que ce label soit plus prolifique dans les prochains mois. | Citation: | DELIGHTFUL 2003 BROADCAST FROM THE BAHAMAS o David Bowie's Reality Tour was a worldwide concert tour in support of the Reality album. The tour commenced on 7 October 2003 at the Forum Copenhagen, Denmark, continuing through Europe, North America, Asia, including a return to New Zealand and Australia for the first time since the 1987 Glass Spider Tour. At over 110 shows, the tour was the longest of Bowie's career. A heart attack in late June 2004 forced the cancellation of some dates near the end of the tour. Bowie retired from performing live in 2006, making this tour his last. The whole thing grossed US$46 million, making it the ninth-highest-grossing tour of 2004. o Bowie announced the tour in June 2003, intending to play to over a million people across 17 countries, and was billed as his first major tour since the Outside Tour of 1995. Rehearsals began in July, with the band from his previous Heathen Tour mostly unchanged; Mark Plati had other work booked, so guitarist Gerry Leonard was made the new bandleader. The band played a warm-up gig on 19 August in New York to a small audience of about 500 people at The Chance Theater. o The band performed in Europe across October and November '03, after which they decamped to North America, playing in Montreal, Canada, New York and Connecticut, before the band's final show of the year, which took place at the Atlantis Paradise Island Hotel in Nassau, The Bahamas on December 20th. o A Sterling Bowie show, the performance was broadcast live across the USA and now features in its entirety on this new CD. Bonus tracks here come from a French broadcast by Bowie, recorded for the TV music show Trafic Musique, broadcast on 4 September 2003.
